Video: Inside Burma After New Attacks

Sang-Ka

After tentative hope for a peace process, Burma’s military has renewed its attacks on Karen villages. In one area, over 200 people fled the shelling and are hiding in the jungle.

Burma “has not specifically said it is because the Karen in the area are Christian, but have somehow made deals with any Buddhist villages,” a Christian Freedom International director said.

The director runs Victory Bible Academy, our training school for Karen Christian refugees.

Sang-Ka, one of Victory’s graduates, is in a targeted village where nearly every day villagers are running from the shelling.

This brave young man is using his training to encourage, pray with people, and deliver supplies of blankets, rice, oil and fish paste.

Please pray for Victory Bible Academy students and graduates as they serve in hard places.
