Collected information and how it is used
There are two ways that CFI collects personal information from visitors to our website:
- A request for a newsletter, or other information or materials about our organization
- A donation.
Information that is collected online includes name, address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, e-mail address, and donations, credit card number and expiration date. Credit card information is used only for donation or payment processing and is not retained for any other purpose.
After making a donation to CFI, you will be placed on our electronic mailing list to receive ongoing news and updates related to our ministry.
The identity and personal information of all individuals who contact us through this website is deemed strictly confidential and limited to the purposes of promoting CFI’s ministry only. At no time will your information which was collected online or offline ever be sold, rented, leased or exchanged with other organizations.
CFI has established the appropriate and necessary procedures to safeguard and prevent unauthorized access to all personal information we collect online. We use Internet Encryption Software, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Protocol when transferring sensitive data such as credit card information, which is encrypted at your browser, sent over the Internet in encrypted form, and then decrypted at CFI’s server.
Removing your name from the CFI mailing list
All electronic mail sent by CFI includes an “opt-out” option for individuals to remove themselves from the mailing list.
