Snapshots of Christians You are Helping

CFI chairman teaches at Victory Bible Academy

I cannot stop thinking about the Christians we met on a recent trip to Asia. Our team visited believers in rural villages and urban shelters. What we witnessed was sobering and inspiring: Christians following Jesus even when it may cost them everything.

Here are a few unforgettable moments:

On our way to visit Bible classes for children in an area where Islamists are taking control, our co-worker was pulled aside and interrogated, then harassed and threatened for days by an undercover officer demanding to know why we were there.

Pakistani and  Vietnamese Christians who fled persecution shared how grateful they are for the support you help to provide. Days later, one of the Christian leaders was forcibly returned to Vietnam and imprisoned. Please pray for Y Quynh Bdap and his family.

Over 120 Muslim-background pastors and teachers traveled by bus and rickshaws – some over eight hours during political protests that shut down the country – to attend a two-day Bible training taught by CFI Board members.

Days after our team taught at CFI’s Victory Bible Academy, two teams of students crossed the border into Burma where others are fleeing. These young adults – who had escaped persecution – chose to go where bombs and bullets are flying to share Jesus with those who can’t leave.

These are the brave Christians you are helping through Christian Freedom International.

They face danger, suffer pain, and endure loss for believing in Jesus – and count it all worth it to know Him. Boosted by your support, they find strength to endure and live for Christ.

Honestly, this trip strengthened our resolve to do all we can for Christians who suffer for Christ. Would you share this with your family, church, small groups, and others so they can see the great work that is getting done with your support?

Thank you for making it possible! Your gifts empower and equip Christians – like the ones that we met – who are determined to follow Jesus despite the risks.

“For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for Him.” Philippians 1:29

Thank you for making it possible! Your gifts empower and equip Christians – like the ones that we met – who are determined to follow Jesus despite the risks.

For His glory,

P.S. One powerful experience was meeting our co-workers. These godly men and women care deeply for the persecuted Christians that you are helping. Their faith and sacrifices – and the risks they take – will only be fully known by God. Will you pray for them?

Your gifts not only provide for Christians who suffer for the name of Christ. You are building a community of Christians who care for one another as they face immense pressure and threats together. Thank you for standing with them as they live for Christ!
